I have been thinking about drawing out the aftermath of Antauri's Masters incident. This fanart takes place after the incident and before the I, Chiro episode.

Here is what happened (Summary by TV.com) :

*SPOILERS but I do not care. I am posting this anyway*

Antauri, sensing a disturbance in the Power Primate, heads off to see the ones who taught him the ways of the mystical energy. Fearful that his friend may not return, Chiro stows away in the Brain Scrambler, and joins Antauri on his mission. But upon arrival, things start to go south as the monkey\'s master informs him that the \"Dark Ones\" have returned and that the Power Primate is deteriorating - and proves himself a traitor as well.

Antauri has been trained by the Veran Mystics and Master Zan. (I don\'t know if his master\'s name is spelled Xan instead but I\'ll leave it at Zan.) That is how Antauri became the Master of the Power Primate and use telekinesis. The second and bottom right pictures are memories Antauri accomplishing his powers by floating with telekinesis and him meeting up with his master. I came up with that to add in the feeling of betrayal. As you can see, the top left and center show Antauri ripping up his training outfit from the Veran Mystics as a sign of loss of respect after what Master Zan did and obviously out of rage. The other ones on the left I did use screenshots as reference to the incident, BUT I NEVER traced them. I drew them both freehand. The bottom center pic of Antauri being attacked by Master Zan I felt was important to add as the sting of betrayal. The top right I made that up in my mind as a concept to show the traitor Master Zan is.

The first time I saw the episode Antauri\'s Masters, I felt so sad for Antauri. However, the episode would have been dull if Master Zan didn\'t turn out to be evil. But still...Nova is lucky to not have her Master Offay as an ally to the Monkey Team. (See the very end of Soul of Evil as he joined the allies about to fight the war against Skeleton King) He sounded so sad in the end even though he looked serious yet pissed off...I do not blame him for that at all. *s and s Antauri*

The center is what\'s happening in the fanart as Antauri is feeling hurt and really angry and is spending some time alone after the incident before the alarm of Shuggazoom being attacked once again by Skeleton King. (aka I, Chiro episode) (OMG ANOTHER pic of Antauri angst! Would he be out to get me if he sees this? ... If he were real I mean..)

Even though I draw the silver Antauri a lot as this form is his current form, I wanted to draw his previous form before he was reborn. So this prompt Betrayal made me think of Antauri\'s Masters and how it happened.

This reminds me of one of Linkin Park\'s songs In The End. If the incident (climax of the show) were to be a song, this song would be it. Although I don\'t want to put in lyrics as I don\'t want to take up anymore space in the Artist\'s Comments.

I worked on this about 2 weeks due to putting off doing college work and other junk and then getting back to it.
