You know what's stupid and rude? Recoloring people's fanart after spending time on their work. Some jerk comes along, takes a copy of their work, and recolors using MS Paint and posts on their own site.

I saw someone doing this on one of my stamps which happens to be my Spova stamp and calls it a "gift." A GIFT? YOU didn't do the drawing! YOU didn't submit it first! YOU didn't create it! I did and MY art is NOT YOUR RECOLORING BOOK! (Sorry, this is pointing at a certain someone who stole and recolored my stamp.)

Recoloring fanart is vandalism and stupidity.

Fanart does NOT equal screenshots.

Feel free to use this if you agree that recoloring as well as taking fanart without the artist's permission.

I totally understand. That was so lame that person did that.
But...if you get the artists permission to color their line-art, is that ok?
... *feels a bit guilty for coloring line-art earlier*

Aww man I agree. Awhile ago, an artist stole one of my friend :iconsash0:s artwork. He basically scribbled all over it in MS paint, then he posts on dA saying that it took him a long time to make and that it was his drawing. But everyone could see that it wasn't his because of the visible watermark in the lower right hand corner. :no:

Oi, I hate that too. There are even a few people on the KND boards that do that in MS Paint/Photoshop/GIMP.

Also Photoshopping Two characters to make them look like they're holding hands/kissing/fluffy stuff exc.
